Fundraising opportunities for your Choir – Make a recording in 2020
You and your choir worked hard in the run up to Christmas with many concerts, carolling for charity and perhaps even a few candlelight evenings. Then the feasting started and like most choirs, we have a few weeks off to enjoy the festivities with friends and family.
So now we getting into 2020, and obviously want to make it another great year full of new memories. There is so much music available to download, but nearly everything has been recorded in a studio. For most choirs, the sheer cost of getting to and recording in a studio is totally out of reach and unless you have a many thousands of pounds to spare (if only!), then recording seems unlikely and rather stressful.
Record a CD and make money!
This is where we can help, and even allow you to make money for your choir/tour/charity. All at a fraction of the cost of a studio recording. Our prices start from as little as £3 per CD and includes CD production, artwork, hosted digital download and copy-write…you can then sell your CDs and digital downloads for example at £10 each, making profit every time. Please refer to our pricing page for more information.
Studio Quality Location Recording
As we are a mobile recording studio we actually come to you. All we need is a room large enough to comfortably fit your choir and this is usually where you normally practise, or a church or hall you have access to. Our equipment is the same specification as that young in the professional studios and then we process and master your music in our studios near Bath. We are confident you will like what you hear, and you can listen to choirs we have recorded here.
Weekend Recording Sessions
We often record Choirs at the weekend. Many of your members work during the week and so a weekend recording works well. This can either be Friday evening and all Saturday, or Saturday and Sunday.
When to Record
January or February are, believe it or not, good months to record your 2020 Christmas CD. A few weeks ago you had many songs performance ready and now you are rested. Recording in the run up to Christmas is just too busy to get many to commit, but in January or February suddenly there is much more time! Of course you may have other repertoire ready to go. Either way, chase away those winter blues and record a CD to raise funds for your choir.
